About Wanda Walton

Wanda Mae (Hill) Walton, 49, Savannah, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 in her home after a long illness. Wanda was the daughter of Marvin and Juanita(Long) Hill. She was born January 13, 1960 in St. Joseph, Missouri. Wanda married Bill Walton on September 24, 2004 in Savannah, Missouri. She worked at Shady Lawn Nursing Home as a cook, housekeeper, and nurse aide. Wanda enjoyed life playing cards and loved to listen to country music. She was a very generous person. Wanda was always there for others. She was loved by many and will be missed by her family and friends. Wanda was proceeded in death by her father and a step brother Daniel Black. Survivors ; husband Bill Walton of the home; daughters Rhonda Walker and Billy Joe Hayes. Step daughters Odetta and Tara Joe Walton, and stepson Matt Walton. Mother and step father; Juanita and William Black., brothers ; Kennith Hill, Gary Hill, Mike Hill, Billy Hill, Terry Hill, Larry Hill, Tommy Hill. and Ronnie Hill, sisters ; Linda Applegarth, and Carol Christopher, brother-in-law Tom Walton, and sister-in-laws Cheryl Conger and Lisa Bechtold, stepbrother Buck Black, step sister Janie Post; 4 grandsons, 3 step grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Wanda was the type of person if you were sad she"d make you laugh and always feel better. She will be sadly missed and never forgotten. Cheryl conger.
